About The Bossy Brunch
Our annual goal is to provide a fun-filled, yet resourceful networking environment for both women and men to connect with one another over tasty delicacies and signature cocktails.
A brief panel discussion will commence at the beginning of the event which will consist of several trailblazing women in their field of expertise ready to drop gems on; building an empire, starting & maintaining a successful business, & more!
We enforce a mandatory dress Code: which is PINK & YELLOW (you can wear either color OR both colors)

Tabby Turnier (Founder)
Tabitha "Tabby" Turnier founded The Bossy Brunch in May of 2022. As an event planner & production coordinator with her own company (Turnier Events) providing an annual platform to highlight other female bosses seemed fitting! Her unique passion for event styling and design plays a significant role in all of her projects and The Bossy Brunch is one event that is the epitome of that.
Malaia B. (Host)
Malaia B Is an aspiring actress and filmmaker from the Bronx, New York. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Communication, with a focus on TV & Radio. Since then she has released her first short film that she wrote, produced and directed.

Bre Williams
Bre Williams, COO of Toss’t and Press’t in Mount Vernon, NY, blends Jamaican cuisine with a healthy, modern twist. A former NYC special education teacher, she transitioned to the culinary world post-COVID to promote nutritious, culturally rich dishes while fostering mentorship and teamwork in the kitchen.
Deandra Brown
Meet Deandra, CEO of Send the Jet Travel Agency. She turned her passion for travel into a thriving business, specializing in luxury trips, group experiences, and mentoring aspiring travel entrepreneurs. Since launching during the 2020 pandemic, she’s built a respected brand and now helps others achieve financial freedom by turning passions into profit.
Khendra David
Khendra K. David is the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Mount Vernon Mayor’s Office, supporting city leadership and initiatives. She’s also a community activist, wellness enthusiast, and founder of Khay Kare, which focuses on image consulting, event curation, and business development. Through “Kare Communities,” she promotes wellness, networking, and personal growth.
Ashlee Brown
Ashlee Brown is redefining Black media representation by celebrating the richness of Black culture through videography, photography, design, and storytelling. A Hampton University graduate (B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, 2017) with a Master’s in Engagement Journalism from CUNY, Ashlee has nearly a decade of experience in storytelling. Her signature project, “Rooting for Everybody Black” on YouTube, highlights Black-owned businesses and notable figures, showcasing innovation and excellence within the Black community.
Felicia Forbes
Felicia Forbes is the founder of Freckle’s Juice, a brand that blends health with culture. After being diagnosed with high cholesterol in 2014, she embarked on a wellness journey and quickly recognized a lack of healthy options in her community. This inspired her to start making juices at home, and by 2015, she opened her first storefront.
Since then, Freckle’s Juice has provided fresh, flavorful, and culturally inspired blends to schools, major corporations, and community events—bringing Caribbean vibes and a passion for wellness to every sip.
Sabriena Campbell
Sabriena Campbell is a dynamic leader and entrepreneur. As Chief of Staff, CEO of Velvet Luxe Cosmetics, and CEO of Campbell & Associates Notary Services, she brings innovation and strategic expertise to every endeavor. Through her platform, Becoming the CEO Network, Sabriena empowers aspiring and established business owners to thrive by providing resources, mentorship, and inspiration for success
